In the wake of the killing of George Floyd and the worldwide Black Lives Matter protests, and following many urgent conversations within our own organisation, we commissioned The Monitoring Group (TMG), one of the most respected anti-racism organisations in the UK, to carry out an independent assessment of the ICA’s workings.

Over a period of 10 months, from its appointment in July 2020, TMG was given full and unrestricted access to our organisation. To push forward change the whole ICA team, with the support of TMG, are developing an Anti-Racism Strategy and Action Plan based on their findings.
